MESSAGE FROM CO-CHAIRS
"Investing in Change" is the theme of the 2002 World Conference on Women and Sport to be held in Montreal, Canada, May 16 to 19, 2002. This Conference, organized under the leadership of the International Working Group on Women and Sport (IWG), is being hosted by the Department of Canadian Heritage (Sport Canada). The Government of Canada is also counting on the expertise of the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS).

This Conference will provide an opportunity to take stock of progress for women and sport since the second World Conference in Windhoek, Namibia, share experiences and solutions, plan future directions and celebrate achievements.

We invite you to join us in Montreal, May 16 to 19, 2002 for a Conference of learning, inspiration, debate, discussions and celebration.
